Jewellery in Rose Quartz

This week there has been an autumn chill in the air, nice weather but definitely signs a colder season coming on. The leaves are just starting to change colour and the fruit on the pear tree in the garden are starting to drop. Magpies and blackbirds are on the ground enjoying a feast. I have... The necklace above is composed of lava, tubes of hematite together with vintage crystals. These are in total contrast to the pendant which is a heart composed of a... Continue Reading →

This necklace is composed of carved jade, beads of onyx and adventurin, together with... Continue Reading →

Here are two different Heuchera growing beside each other in my front garden flower bed. The leaves are fascinating, different colours on each side of the leaves. One... Continue Reading →

Ferns have unfurled and waft their fronds in the wind   I just brought this beautiful vase home from my son's antique/seconhand shop. It is... Continue Reading →

The Rutile inclusions range from thin, sparse, and parallel, to thick, dense, and crisscrossed,... Continue Reading →

These are the first pieces of jewellery I have created this year. The necklace in the above photograph is composed of red, purple and violet stones - I really enjoyed putting this together: chunky segments of coral, amethyst and rose quartz, together with glass and Bali silver spacer beads, and with a bracelet to match.... Chunky necklaces

The variety of agate beads is never-ending. The lowest necklace in the photograph is composed of egg-shaped agate which I have combined with hematite tubes , labradorite and coral. I feel the shape adds to a modern look. My second creation also has hematite tubes, together with chunky rock crystal, lava and with a carved... Continue Reading →
